Bellotti Ezio: a collection in a completely new style to celebrate its 90th anniversary

The company presents a new and comprehensive showcase for the entire living environment at Salone del Mobile.Milano. A sophisticated setting to celebrate the company's roots and unique savoir-faire.

Bellotti Ezio is celebrating the prestigious milestone of 90 years of history this year. For almost a century, the company has played a leading role in the excellence of classic Italian furniture, distinguishing itself through highly specialised and tailor-made know-how in craftsmanship. At the same time, it has contributed to the evolution of the Salone del Mobile.Milano, an event in which it has taken part without interruption since 1967.

To pay tribute to this indissoluble bond, Bellotti Ezio chose to celebrate its 90th anniversary at the Milanese show with an exclusive event dedicated to its customers. At the heart of this celebration is the launch of a new furniture collection, a tribute to the brand's roots and history, unveiled for the first time at the Salone.

Charming is the new collection by Bellotti Ezio, developed with the creative co-ordination of Laura Cazzaniga and Ilaria Limonta, who also conceived the display design at the Salone. The set design presents an immersive and emotional journey through the living, dining and bedroom areas to the office area designed by BelMondo - Bellotti Ezio's brand launched in 2016, which offers a line of contemporary elegance designed by Gianluca Ferreri.

The atmospheres are sophisticated, the colours natural, the finishes evocative of tradition, amid golden and bronzed hues. One breathes in authentic classicism: carvings and inlays, passementerie and capitonné, marble and mirrors bring back memories of the Louis XV and Louis XVI styles. While the combinations of materials and upholstery fabrics bring classicism into communication with modernity.

Surfaces are the key elements of this balance. While the carpet recalls a scaled Aubusson pattern, the boiserie alternates a warm greige painting by Farrow & Ball with a fine upholstery fabric, tapestry-like, reproducing a natural landscape.

The entrance opens the exhibition setting with an elegant material harmony, defined by the cannulated walls and the imposing artistic console, entirely carved and finished in gold leaf.

This space naturally introduces the living area, where comfort takes shape in a composition of sofas that combine precious golden damask with soft olive-green velvet, echoed in the pouf and armchairs. The tables that complete the room are both versatile and functional, as well as highly decorative thanks to the wide selection of materials that express Bellotti Ezio's attention to detail: brass combined with marble or amber-coloured baked glass for the tops, wood in meringue finish (bleached with golden hues) combined with a bronzed mirror top.

The atmosphere is enriched with a more intimate and cosy lounge corner, consisting of two fully padded armchairs featuring a large seat cushion and fringe framing the base. In the centre stands a small table with a dramatic "bow" base, an example of high craftsmanship. Carved with grooves and geometric motifs, it is embellished with a chic bright gold finish and completed by a marble top.

The concept of refined conviviality continues in the dining area, dominated by a majestic 2,70 metre dining table, a true work of sculpture. The top is distinguished by an intricate inlay of leaves that branch out from the edges along the perimeter, creating a dynamic pattern on the American maple slab, matching the frame with a meringue finish. This elegant leitmotif can also be found in the elements that complete the room: the low four-door sideboard (with marble top and meringue finish) and the two tall display cabinets, where the leaf decoration is expressed in a torchon motif inlay in canaletto walnut.

The seating contributes to giving rhythm and comfort to this room with its tactile and material traits. There are armchairs at the head of the table and small armchairs surrounding the table - which combine velvet with fabric that echoes the wallpaper - and two upholstered benches with a carved base that echoes the workmanship of the two mirrors they are combined with.

The Bellotti Ezio style house finds completion in the sleeping area, imagined as an intimate, reassuring, enveloping refuge. Deep shades dominate the room, with the new fondant finish - enhanced by light golden hues - lending warmth and depth to the furniture. This colour effect is found in the leather-topped writing desk, the bedside tables and the dressers - both inlaid with a motif that ideally recalls the windows of the dining area, thus creating a perfect continuity of style. The upholstered elements evoke a sense of relaxation and serenity. The bed, in soft caramel tones, features an upholstered headboard framed by a rich carving; while the fully upholstered dormeuse is covered in fabric with gold inserts and surrounded by art deco-inspired fringing. The design is brought up to date by the movable cushion that acts as a backrest, offering versatility and comfort in different positions. To complete this oasis of well-being and harmony we find a full-height (240 cm) wall mirror in a chic gold finish.

This sophisticated living scenario also includes an office space, an environment entirely designed by BelMondo, testifying to the complementary nature of the company's many offers. This "home working" space is distinguished by a more masculine elegance, emphasised by a palette of blue tones and a more linear, geometric design.

The desk, in canaletto walnut, has an inlaid top, matching the leather upholstery that wraps around the sides and back, down to the base that has a metallic effect. The same allure is to be found in the bookcase, with glass doors, and in the cabinet with its unusual blue finish with stripped gold and glossy inlaid doors. Lastly, the armchairs add a soft touch: the leather executive armchair expresses authority, while the pair of fabric lounge chairs is an open invitation to relaxation, creating a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics.

This new set design by Bellotti Ezio elegantly celebrates 90 years of a history of passion, craftsmanship and innovation. Each room recounts a journey between tradition and modernity, where classicism takes on new life through precious materials, sophisticated finishes and details with timeless charm. A tale that weaves memory and future, bearing witness to the evolution of a brand capable of reinventing itself while remaining true to its essence.
